After leaving office, George W. Bush will do everything in his power to continue as a neo-con icon. Of course, he will play more golf, putts around his Crawford ranch, make speeches for outrageous honorariums and write an autobiography with help of a ghost writer. However, he will also consult regularly with lawyers about how to avoid being indicted, apprehended abroad, convicted or punished for war crimes. He will remain a celebrity for the rest of his life, trying to justify his actions as president. He will defiantly defend his wars on Terrorism, Iraq and Afghanistan, expansion of executive powers, legalized use of torture, corruption/profiteering and weakening of American civil liberties, etc. Bush will relish being asked for advice by neo-cons and Zionists as they try to carry on their policies without such a strong supporter in the White House.

He won't have any new positions, nor will he be actively involved in international affairs, due to the danger, because of his controversial decisions.
Bush is already very wealthy, but he is likely to get much more so, after his term ends. He will be able to make as many speeches as he wants, each for a sum that many Americans live on for a year. He will be celebrated by the corporate chieftains who benefited from his regime.
He will also become even more of a target, since most of the secret service protection ends with his term. He may find it necessary to hire a security service to provide additional protection. He will likely surround himself by a relatively large staff to try to protect and defend his reputation in the media. He will have many excuses and rationales for why he was not responsible for any failures under
