My boyfriend has diabetes. His body constantly reminds him
that he's coping with this dreadful disease. Long before
he received the news from his doctor that he had diabetes,
he was a regular person with many different interests. His
personality and tastes have not changed any...in spite of
his suffering and pain. He's still a regular person who
wants the same kind of gifts other people are looking
forward to opening on Christmas Day.
He appreciates classic country music and classic western
movies. Listening to his favorites on CDs at home or
in his truck provide great escapism from his problems.
Watching his favorite western movies on the television
set helps him recapture feelings and memories from his
boyhood. The person on your gift list would certainly
appreciate receiving more of their favorite films and
music too.
He also loves the pleasant aroma from Circle E candles.
Those candles come from Fredericksburg, Texas. They
have many different scents to choose from. They help
create a soothing ambience in any room or place. Everyone
loves candles. You can't go wrong with this gift option.
Most men and women love receiving comfortable clothes
for Christmas. Pick out warm clothing in his/her favorite
colors and/or patterns and your recipient will surely
be pleased. You can also select something colorful and
festive for this wonderful person too.
He appreciates when I buy special diabetic products for him
like the diabetic alert bracelet and the diabetic skin
creams. I save those medical gifts for normal days. Special
days like birthdays, Father's Day and Christmas certainly
deserve gift ideas that reflect his personality, interests
and normal needs. He has diabetes but that condition does not
define who he really is.
