Reflections: Philosophy and computers

in the background use CPU as well as memory energy and gradually slow down the general operations of your computer subsystems. So now we know that when a client or customer complains about a slow running system that it could be due to many conditions, like a over stuffed hard drive (too much information has been saved to the hard drive, its like eating too much and trying to jog or swim on a heavy stomach) or too many TSR programs running in the background, we can deal with this problem by opening the Systems Configuration Utility simply click on Start-Run- and them type in Msconfig (Microsoft Configuration utility) click OK and the utility will show itself. In this utility we see six tabs as follows from right to left a Start Tab, a Service Tab, a Boot.INI Tab, a Win.INI Tab, a System.INI Tab, (INI stands for initialization files) and a General Tab. Under these various tabs you will see all the programs and services currently running on your computers system and you can also notice the computer's general configuration while you are at it. This utility presents you with an opportunity to alter safely the configurations of your computers infrastructure without causing any substantial harm to its registry and it permits you the ability to control the TRS, startup, and many services or programs giving you more memory and freeing up CPU operations so that your computer can start and run faster. I like my system to start up as fast as possible and this option allows me to shut down all the programs that start when the computer starts, alleviating these programs from the start up menu also relieves the computer from having to start them when the computer is turned on, which in turn frees up memory use and CPU use. Remember the more memory and CPU functionality the faster and smoother your system functions, but this theory as well goes hand in hand with the more hard drive space available, this is a plus also for your computer's perfect operations.

Thanks for your technical ear hope I didn't bore ya.
