Do people actually believe that scientists around the world have united in an elaborate hoax called global warming? This is absurd nonsense. Natural disasters have happened throughout history but not on the large scale that we have witnessed over the last few decades. Tens of thousands have died in hurricanes, earthquakes and tsunamis in just the last 20 years. With natural disasters increasing every year and climate change destroying crops and lives around the world, it is inconceivable that anyone would believe that global warming is a hoax.
The latest report from the World Conservation Union said that global warming is threatening a minimum of 40 percent of the world's species. Gray whales have been washing up on beaches after starving to death due to rising ocean temperatures which killed off their food supply. Hundreds of Pacific seabirds have starved and washed ashore because global warming led to lower amounts of plankton which reduced the number of small fish to feed them.
Britain has suffered its worst flood in sixty years and experts focus the blame directly at global warming for modified rain patterns. China authorities believe rising temperatures are responsible for an increase in their heat-related deaths.
Global warming is blanching coral in the Florida Keys which kills the coral and indigenous fish. At one time, Elkhorn coral ran along the base of the Caribbean but now they're almost gone.
Lobsters have been dwindling down at an alarming rate from New York State to Massachusetts due to warming waters. Wild pacific salmon have already disappeared from more than 40 percent of their sanctioned habitats.
Due to global warming, malaria has spread from three districts in western Kenya to 13, leading to epidemics in Rwanda and Tanzania. Malaria has extended to higher altitudes in places like the Colombian Andes, 7,000 feet above sea level. Not long ago, a larva of the anopheles mosquito, the malaria carrier, was found for the first time in Moscow.
Cholera showed up in the warmer waters of South America in 1991 and spread from Peru into Mexico, killing more than 10,000 people. Ticks recently began to expand along the coastlines of Scandinavia, which was once too cold for ticks to survive and Lyme disease has doubled in the area since the late 1990's. Diseases for which there is no cure are increasing. Swine flu or H1N1 spread rapidly around the world before countries had a chance to close its borders.
Therefore, global warming is not a hoax- it is a very real threat.
In view of the fact that our climate is changing rapidly along with serious worldwide unrest and failing economy, it is very likely that we are in the "beginning of sorrows" that Jesus Christ described to the Apostles.
"...there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be."
These things have happened throughout history but Jesus said that when we saw ALL these things take place we would know the end was near. "And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth..." (Luke 21:25-28)
The popular 2012 dooms day prediction is commonly associated with Luke 21 but if 2012 is the fulfillment of this prophecy there will only be one safe place in the whole universe. Click here and make your reservation now.
