Even though Axl is a very arrogant, selfish and narrow minded, he is still one of my favorite singers. I don't think that Guns 'n' Roses splitting up could be all Axl's fault, there was the other members as well. Axl couldn't have been that bad that they couldn't sit him down and talk to him. Instead they left and three of them formed Velvet Revolver which is made up of Slash, Duff and Matt. I also think that he can't be that bad if they stayed with him for so long, it could have been purely for the music because they are now making a name for themselves in Velvet Revolver. I have on many occasions thought that he was a big headed idiot because he wrote some of the best rock songs ever written and then treated his band mates like they were spare parts. But then like I said before, there wasn't just Axl in the band, there was four other members that could have stepped up to the plate and said something before it got out of hand. Then again, maybe that's why they were all so many drugs and drunk so much booze that they can barely remember anything about their time in the band. They needed someway of being able to put up with him until it got too much and they left. So I don't think that Axl is completely to blame but I'm sure he didn't help the situation.
