Christmas 2007: Hottest football gift ideas

We love football because it is the sport to end all sports. Only the strong survive and the weak are left behind. Football will always be the most popular sport in America and also the most profitable and marketable. The NFL and NCAA has more than 100 different products in all 32 teams. Because of this, it is easy to find a gift for any football enthusiast.

Jerseys are a great gift for the average football fan. Jerseys allow the wearer to represent his or her favorite player and/or team. The NFL has the most unique jerseys of any major sport. In total jerseys can have over 100 different animals on them and and at least 50 different colors. The material that the jersey is made from makes it the most comfortable jersey to wear.

Football accessories are an inexpensive way to represent your favorite team. You can buy shoes, socks, and slippers with your team's logo on it. You can also get hats, sweaters, jackets, beds, furniture, cups- you name it the NFL and NCAA has it with your team's logo on it of course. These items will keep your football passion alive on the days there aren't and games on.

The best thing you can get a football fan is obvious, tickets to the game! You don't just watch the game for two and a half hours then leave. There is so much more you could do. 3 hours before the game fans come in and tailgate. Tailgating is when fans break out the barbecue and beer and they hang out before the game starts. Some of them even bring their own TVs because they don't have tickets to the game. Fans also paint their bodies in their team's colors during this time. The real action begins when the game starts. The game is chock full of action in form of tackling, turnovers, amazing plays, and last second victories. The experience will be something you or the person who gets the extra ticket will never forget.

Anyone of these items will make a perfect holiday gift for your average football fan.
