Missed me lately
Recalling the time, once five years old in the grocery store
My five little fingers slipped out of my mothers' hand and I was lost.
I cried a little, and even panicked as well, "How could she not know she left me, in this cereal aisle?"
Left behind I was amongst all the other grown-ups that were around,
" This just not right," and then I see a nice man with a smile.
Seconds later, my mother appears, she picks me up and wipe my tears,
"This is what happens when you are in the big world," " I am so sorry baby girl," and she gives me another hug.
Being left behind, is not cool at all, you start to feel you are in the dark,
No one to hear your everlasting plea of being around them maybe even sharing a cup of tea.
I guess in the end, over all you can tell, there is only one fix to this despair,
A discovery has to be made, being found is good to, Hearing some one say, " Missed me lately, and are you okay?"
Now that will definitely be the thing to have being left behind be erased,Until the next time I just cannot seem to keep myself seen and in sight.

Poetry: Left behind
Over there behind me and back where I keep it
The unresolved stories in this puzzle of life
Over there behind me away
Left Behind.
It was a cold Saturday in December,
Christmas preparations were underway,
The tree was decorated, I remember,
All Alone
Why is our life ever so uncertain?
Why can't things remain the same?
As I'm left all alone, I wondered
How everything
by Karen Fain
Where are you?
Did you disappear?
Do you still exist?
Do you see my tears?
Do you come to me
in my dreams at night?
Do you see
by Anita Carter
Remember Me
Do you remember me?
Do you even know who I am?
Because I know who you are
You are the one who never
came to
