My mind crackles as the dust blows off
I ask my shadow for the whopping cough
It looks at me like I'm crazier than he
He's the one looking back at me
It disappears as my soul moves on
I close my eyes and see a bright blue sun
My eyes! They hurt, I turn away
Leave that image for another day
A coyote walks by and says hello
It's sly, it's clever, and oh so mellow
It warns me of the end of days
then proposes all the different ways
I shake my head and see the dust fly
My mind should by shut down to die
My shadow draws back and knows my fate
My mind crackles as the dust takes the bait
