How the Tree of Life impacts us all

If you had the choice right now from which tree would you eat the fruit from? The Tree of Life or from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Bad?
In the Bible, Eve is said to have eaten from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Bad, and in that instant, became ashamed of her nakedness. Had she eaten from the Tree of Life, perhaps our own would be different today. In fact, in my humble opinion, it would be very different because we would not have Free Will!

The Tree of Life may have provided everlasting life for man but seriously, knowing what we know now, how boring would we be? I don't know, I guess it comes down to what we don't know won't hurt us when in fact to gain knowledge, as we know, empowers us to use our Free Will and make decisions concerning our own life. I think Eve actually chose correctly for I think God would be bored to tears with us by now if we remained totally subjective to his Will. In fact, would we be still here or would we have been replaced just as the dinosaurs were replaced because they were seen as not suitable for the earth and man.
Many unanswered questions remain and although we research and discover new things every day, we are still no closer to knowing exactly how we came to be. There is something comforting to many people who think that the Bible is absolutely correct, but to me there are just too many unrealistic events, unanswered questions and there have been too many translations to know for certain.
I could tell you that I have been talking to God in my mind and he has revealed things to me that perhaps not many other people know. But that would be only my opinion and who am I in the scheme of things to tell you different to that which you believe.
Given a choice of the fruit of either Tree, I would certainly choose knowledge because I was given a brain, my thoughts and my body with which to create and to not be allowed to do those things would be unthinkable!
Another way to think of this Tree of Life could well be that we can taste the fruit by way of our submission to God and ridding ourselves of all earthly desires, becoming like a hermit of the land. In the Bible, Jesus is said to have been lost in the wilderness while he searched for God and his purpose. He returned to be praised as the Son of God. I have nothing to say about that without becoming a judge of the Bible.
To each your own and take what you will from whatever you read about our life but know that life lives within you and only you can decide the direction it takes.
Remember to Remember
God Bless and don't forget to smell the flowers, see the butterflies, listen to the sounds of nature, touch someone's heart and taste life!
