Bad bosses: How to work for someone younger than you

Twice I have worked for men 15-20 years younger than myself. I guess they think of me as a mom or a neuter or something, but clearly, they seek women much more interested in performing for their approval,...including the winking and blinking, flirting and junk, that I do not go for.

Twice I have pointed out that the new girl they just hired may flirt with men besides themselves...hello? I'll mention in passing that the new girl is very attractive to most of the men, but gray haired people of both genders sell more. Do I get ignored? Yes, of course.

A few months go by, and both times, these beautiful, smiling, available young women are guess what? Pregnant! Does the company who hired them now owe them hospital benefits? Do my young men supervisors go into shock? What, you mean those young girls were flirting with men other than themselves? Horrors! Are they the father? So flattered by the attention of a beautiful employee, it doesn't occur to them they could be fishing off the company dock, then the company ends up buying the shipload.

I know I'm simple. I'm no cheap date, and I never fraternize at work. My personal life stays at home, and I have learned that women of any age are attractive to men of any age. It's laughable, how stereo-typed older women are by many younger men climbing up the ladder. If they only knew! Well, I won't be the one to tell them. They don't pay me enough!
