Is Satan a defeated foe? No, at least not yet. If he were defeated, there would be no temptation among the earth, no wickedness, no enemies, so on and so forth. I believe that one day, of which no one knows, he will at last be taken care of. He will, in a later date, have chains bonded over him, so that he will have no control over man. Afterwords, he will be tormented forever, worse than that of those in hell. Although that time is still to come. He is still taking over the children of god, and is making the worlds a horrible place to live. In my opinion, he thinks that by causing all sorts of destruction and suffering to the world, he is in some way destroying gods plan. Satan is a fool. No one or no power can overtake god, and nothing ever will. Indeed it's true, Satan does have power, but it has no power over us as long as we shall follow god, and have his spirit to be with us. If we are close to god, and keep his commandments, he and his followers will have no power over us. Satan does not like god, and cannot stand to be in his presence. So, if we will have his spirit in our home, work, school, and so on, he has no choice but to let us be, for he cannot defeat god, or his power. I believe that when the world comes to an end by fire, and when every wicked person is destroyed, Satan will have no power over the children of men, and his power will finally come to an end. But until that time, I suggest that we all do the best we can to keep god's commandments and have his spirit to be with us, so that we may have the power to overthrow Satan. As long as we are close to god, we can still be tempted, but we will have the will in us to refuse, and to press onward so that we may do our best to serve the true master, the god of heaven and earth. All in all, Satan is not a defeated foe, but in the hand of god, he will have no chance against us.
