Why I like the French language

I am currently taking a French class. I am learning French in university. I am taking French as my language requirement in college. I need to learn a language because it's required by my college's Arts and Humanities college. Now, I took it because I wanted to. And I love it. I absolutely do. It's a terrific language. I enjoy the French language a great deal. I love how it sounds when I speak it. It's so pretty. There's something about the way you say French words that just, amazes me. There are so many great words. I love the phrase for "I don't know" in French, which is Je ne sais pas! It's a romantic language and plus, it's very easily learned.

Anyways, I love it because it's a different language and that there are some words very similar to the English words. I love being able to say "Bonjour, Madame" to my Professor and "Merci" to tell someone thank you. I love being able to count in French, which is a great treat. Or being able to say what I enjoy in a different language. One of my favorite phrases to say in French is "je ne sais quoi" which means a mysterious quality makes somebody or something more attractive or interesting, but actually in French it means I do not know what. Cool, eh?

Plus, French is used by millions of people in many different countries.
