Reflections: Creativity

Skin has a million hues, freckles, scars and lines. When a human being is created, no knowledge is required.

When a human being is being created, there are no thoughts of aesthetics, in terms of construction. Though one always hopes for the best.

Building a building requires land mass, construction material and literal plans to follow for its construction.

But, what does it take to paint a painting? For me, it only takes paint, brushes and surface.
What a bohemian I am. What an unevolved, unthinking painter I am! And yet, when I paint, I read highly intellectual material. When I am in painting mode, it even goes over the top of my head.

Huh?

Lines are my obsession. Math to me, is a freckle faced jester who says, "I dare you!" in Swahili. And while I get a bit angry that it isn't fair that I cannot speak Swahili, I decide to make sense of it all in other words. Like English. Or French. And I talk to myself in the course of painting. When nobody else "gets it" it makes jolly good sense to talk to oneself.

All this aside, Why am I creative?

Because I can paint 7 and make it look like 4. That's why.

Oh, go ahead and write me off as a "nut". I don't care. I'm not running for the presidency or planning to become an astronaut. No, I don't have those kinds of nuts.
