I think it hurts them because life is not a competition. You don't want them to be too competitive.Because if they lose their gonna think they are stupid and don't know anything.
You want them to have a bright and wonderful future. You want to teach them not to win to much but sometimes lose.Losing may cause jealousy and pain.Maybe they would lose to their best
friend, they would have destroyed her or his wonderful relationship.I know its a little good to have competition but come on do you want your child to think life is a game or competition.
Your child should not get too competitive with these things that are so simple, and cry to it.
Or do you want or her to try again and not go through to much bad times and feel very bad at the end.I may not have a child because I'm Thur-teen years old,but i have little sister that races to things just to get attention from ether my mom or my big sister or my dad or my aunt and uncle or maybe even my cousin, but one day she will fall not on the ground but of loosing.
Don't worry if your child is too competitive,i have seen it before. But you have too stop them before they fall. This could also lead to cheating on test and more.It can also lead to an unforgiven type of child, imagine you win something new on a game and your child doesn't win anything he or she was too competitive to forgive you.
