The Nevada City winery presents unsurpassed Northern California wine tasting experience. Located in downtown Nevada City, the wines have won several "Best of Sierra Foothill" awards. The specialty is its antique corkscrew collection. Tours are conducted on Saturdays.

To enjoy this North California entertainment on weekdays, appointments should be made beforehand.
The Sierra Star Vineyard and Winery is open daily between 12 noon and 5:00 p.m. It is located in the historic Grass Valley. Every year it produces around 1500 handcrafted cases. The wines are created from the fruits that grow in the estate mountains. Specialities include the Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Chardonnay, Merlot and the likes.
Exceptional Northern California entertainment of wine tasting is provided by the Truckee River Winery the highest and the coldest winery in the U. S. The special flavours that are crafted include the Pinot Noir, the Zinfandel, The Sauvignon Bland and the Merlot. Wine tasting is offered by appointment.
