Gifts You Can Make:

*Food. Treat your student to some good, home-cooked food by giving a basket of baked goodies, or by canning stews, chili, or spaghetti sauce they can make on their own later.

*A small album or framed collage of family photos.

*Mail. There is nothing like getting mail when you're away from home. Drop a bundle of letters or small care packages off at the school office to be delivered once a week in the coming months.
