He had chosen to walk away from home that night, knowing full well that the reason for his father kicking him out of the house was none other than his unwillingness to be wrong or apologize. He ended up living behind the oil change garage he worked at. The only thing is that without a bath and a change of clothes, he found himself soon without a job. They didn't mind him sleeping behind the business in a broke down car, but the fact that he hadn't taken a bath in weeks and smelled like a mixture of fuel, oil, and perspiration didn't help him keep his job.
He soon found a group of Nazi skinheads who welcomed their new "white brother", and they gave him a home and attempted to give him their beliefs as well. He tried but he really couldn't hate someone only for the color of their skin, and found himself in a situation of utter despair. Then one night when the brothers were out "stomping" or "gay bashing" if you will, he realized that this hatred was not only bad, but he didn't like the way it felt to hurt other people just because they look or act a certain way that is conceived to be "wrong". The young man's father sent him to Virginia to stay with some friends of the family and get out of the local environment, but they couldn't put up with his defiance for long and he soon left without much fight. He lived on the streets for several months, in and out of homeless shelter and crack house. He had seen young girls perform "favors" on their own father for money to purchase crack, sons had stolen and pawned everything their parents owned just to get a fix. The young man never bothered to touch the stuff, he never liked anything that would take away clarity. Funny how he thought that way. Yet he didn't have the clarity to choose a different path.
He soon was seduced by a woman and she soon was with child. He honestly never really had any desire to be with her except that she had a home and electricity, and the given
