I can remember, my brother and I watching the more known Christmas shows like; "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town","Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer", "Frosty The Snowman", etc.. Many people never talk about "The Little Drummer Boy", or "The Polar Bear Express", or "Miracle On 34th Street" being classic movies. These three films taught children about believing, faith, and love in a world of disbelief.
These are the old and new essential classic movies, I believe every family should see:
"The Little Drummer Boy" is about a young drummer boy, who, visited the manager-where Jesus was born. He plays his drum for the young babe, who, save mankind. This animated show taught about believing, faith in the unknown, and the love for man.
"The Polar Bear Express", with actor Tom Hanks, told about a young boy's dream about growing-up by using the spirit of Christmas in it. What would he decide: to believe in Santa or not?
This movie may not be a classic, but the message and theme is!
Lastly, "Miracle On 34th Street", talk about a classic movie for the family. The movie starred Maureen O'Hara, Natalie Wood, John Payne, and many other great celebrities of that time! The movie is about a young girl disbelief in Santa Claus and her mother's disbelief in men. The movie gives the viewer drama and comedy at the same time. Faith, believing, and love is all tied in this amazing Christmas movie of all-time!
I think you and your love ones will agree these forgotten classics will have a lasting expression on anyone, who, sees them!
