Black Site
Prologue
The screams of wretched souls and desecrated spirits seemed to fill the endless black void. But there were screams that surpassed all others and could almost be heard in the material world. The screams of an angel being tortured after being caught attempting to kill a demonic demigod. His tortures were beyond anything imaginable. Think, a creature spending its whole existence in the light and now being stuck in pure darkness and being ravaged by the smaller less powerful of the demons. Though some just being near him had been destroyed the others saw it as collateral damage but the prize was far worth it. The pain he suffered was unimaginable, but he survived.
Over time he changed and grew used to the dark, even traveled freely around the realm. His heart was tainted and black, but deep down inside he longed for the day he could pay back the monsters for destroying his beautiful form and causing him to be shunned from the light. His once pure white wings that carried him into battle were now grey and tattered but still carried him. His brilliant blue eyes also turned grey with pain of time. His once tanned skin became pail and rough. And his once clean smooth facial features were now sharp and a pair of horns now protrudes from his forehead. He was by no means an angel, nor a demon.
He started hunting the lesser demons and devouring there power and flesh to feed his insatiable hunger. Soon almost all of the minor beings fled from him, and even some more powerful ones. He became more and more powerful holding on to most of his angelic powers and twisting them to be more powerful with darkness. His senses also were more powerful then a human's when he was an angel but now moving threw the dark they reached a whole new level. Even in the constant noise of pain and screams he could hear the smallest movement of something behind him, and even if the creature made no noise he could sense its life force and energy. Even his sight became better to the point of seeing in the inferred spectrum, but light still did not bother his acute eyes. He had the best of both worlds, but a great weakness as well; He needed to feed on life energy, such as souls, demonic energy, life blood, or magical energy.
He became a hunter, a killer of the demon kind. He destroyed countless numbers of demons and other creatures in the dark realm until his chance came to leave the dark wasteland and travel to the material realm and begin his hunt for his final kill. The chance came in the form of a young man who had been marked for this journey long before the birth of the world.
