Its finally that time of year again. For kids its a wonderful time of year. Full of presents and snow days and lots of fun. For Parents, however, it can be pretty stressful. There are many different things that bring this stress on too. From bills to chores to family members coming in from out of town.
You should try to make shopping as fun as possible to keep you in this Christmas spirit. Here are a few ideas I think you should try.
1. Bargain Shop- There are bargains to be had out there. Just because it is Christmas season, doesn't mean that everyone is jacking up there prices to an ordinate amount. As for those that say "My kid won't wear/use generic brand things". I'd like to say first that that is definitely your problem because it really would save a lot of useful money but even so bargain shopping doesn't mean generic shopping.
2. Shop On-line- You can ALWAYS get better deals on line. I know there is much ado about identity theft, but it really isn't that common. You may get robbed walking down the street on the way to the store. You take risks no matter what you do or where you go.
3. Shop Close to home- No one likes driving 50+ miles to shop at a certain store, it brings stress and makes for an overall bad day. Also, weather conditions may not be favorable, so why chance it?
