it doesn't matter if they wallow in a barrel of oil for the whole nine months, will have such delicate skin that it will shred and rip no matter what they
Chest cream for young children with colds
1 ounce beeswax
1 cup fractionated coconut oil
Mix together and add:
10 drops lemon eucalyptus, 20 drops lavender, and 14 drops Roman Chamomile essential oils.
This can be spread on the chest to help unblock sinus, help to calm and aid sleep. It's much gentler than the well known over the counter rub that has been known to cause breathing problems in small children.
You can use the same recipe minus the Lemon Eucalyptus for a cream for baby's bottom when it gets the dreaded diaper rash.
For a totally decadent, rich and lovely body butter:
1/2 ounce beeswax
1/2 ounce cocoa butter
1/2 cup jojoba oil
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
Melt on low heat until melted and then whip in half a cup of Shea butter.
Add to that 16`drops of Rose Essential oil 40 drops of Sandalwood Essential Oil and Voila! You now have a delicious body butter to soften your skin.
You can play around with this simple but elegant recipe to make it just the consistency you want by adding more oil to make the cream lighter for a night time moisturizer or a little less oil to make a lip balm. Also try using other oils and butters, such as Manuka, Virgin Coconut oil, Mango butter etc. You may notice after a couple of months that your butter may start to crystallize. This is natural and does not mean it's going off. If you make more than you can use immediately, you can refrigerate it.
