The Bible is the word of God and teaches us how to live and be in God's favor so we can inherit the earth after Armageddon.
Adam and Eve, who God made "perfect" until they ate the apple from the tree of the knowledge of "good and evil", became imperfect after consuming the apple and all their descendants were born imperfect. And their punishment was that they would certainly die. And that's why death is our final destination on earth at this time.
The Bible teaches us how to live and behave righteously. And anyone studying the Bible should understand why they do the things that they do and that they can change if they want to. Even though Satan is the ruler of the earth right now, we still have the power to keep him out of our lives with faith. Satan hates us when we put our faith in God and in prayers to Him because Satan is so jealous of God's powers over the people of the earth and told God he could rule humans better if given the chance. So, God gave him 1,000 years to prove he could rule humans better. But in God's eyes, 1,000 years is equivalent to a day to Him. So since he made the earth in 6 days, he gave Satan 6 days to prove he was worthy of ruling the earth. That meant Satan had 6,000 years and then his time would be up.
Well, as you can see, Satan has proved that man cannot rule over other men because of their imperfection that leads them to becoming "power hungry", "money hungry", "sex hungry", dishonest and abusive to each other. Man tends to feast on his desires for material things and power more than his faith in everlasting peace and harmony. And that's why the world is in the state it is right now because men who love to bully each other cause wars, destruction, and death to many who are under their governmental control. War and hate is Satan's cup of tea, not God's. And Satan's time is about finished because the signs of the "last days" are showing all over the world.
If we read our Bibles, we will learn what pleases God. We will learn how to treat our neighbors better, how to be more honest and caring towards each other, how to help those in need as much as we can, and how to love one another instead of hate so we will be ready when the day of judgment comes.
God wants us to live together in harmony and peace in paradise, which is the earth he made, and we would never grow old, would never get ill or sick, and would never die. We would live happily ever after for at least 1,000 years (which is 6,000 years to God) and Jesus Christ will be our ruler with 144,000 of his handpicked disciples.
That's what the Bible tells us. And if we think that the human mind evolved from a monkey, we are sadly mistaken. God created man in his own image, and God was not a monkey.
Read your Bibles. It's all there and everything that's happening today was foretold thousands of years ago. That's why we should realize that we are in the last days of Satan's rule. But those last days could be another thousand years according to God's perception of time. So, I don't think we need to run and try to hide tomorrow. Plus when it comes, there will be no place to hide anyway. And only the wicked, evil, people who are liars, cheaters, unfaithful, unchristian, and truly bad will be discarded for an eternity. Jesus will raise all the righteous from their deaths and all the meek will inherit the earth and live forever.
That's what keeps me living in peace within the chaos. There's no better retreat than the Bible.
In love and peace, may God be with you all.
