Let's start with the basics:
1. Master aggression
Men start wars. Men like violence and violent conflict.
Inherently, when cornered, a man will lash out in anger and
violence. Men who are faced with adversity tend to take a more
aggressive tack. Every civilized man must first learn to harness
his innate need to show his base alpha sided emotions.
2. Logic
The man who can problem solve, learn from mistakes and has the
ability to factor will succeed in any civilization.
3. Balance
Too much of anything is not a good thing. A man who can find
beauty in art, music and aesthetics, who is not afraid of
manual labor, who is comfortable in awkward or stressful
situations will succeed greatly.
4. Control temptations
Most men get in trouble because they feel they are being deprived
of something. They want what they think they can't have. The
successful man is the man who feels he has everything though he
may in fact have little in eyes of others.
5. Build an ark
Not literally, but as a metaphor about finding security and seeking
refuge from all the tempests that life will throw in his way.
Protect those weaker. Keep your family safe. Be able to wait out
any storm because in time all troubles and storms do tend to pass.
6. Know the difference between being True or False.
The man who knows his own dishonesty is only being dishonest to
himself. Reputations are built on trust. Judgment is based on
character. If you are an honest man, people will know you long before
you ever meet.
7. Cook a meal
Another metaphor. More situations have been calmed, tempered, agreed
on or assuaged by the breaking bread with a friend or enemy at a
dining table. Learn to share your talent and any man can be successful.
8. Fly
The complacent man is victim to his own lack of growth. There is a
big world out there and a man has to see it. This can be by travel,
reading, study, or even online. By being able to leave your home
and seeing how others live you may find some common bond and learn
a little more about what is inside you. A man must spread his wings.
9. Calculate
Unlike being logical where a man tries to find out how things fit in
place, the calculator makes difficult things more difficult as a way
to problem solve. Many inventions today came from ideas by men who
were calculating something else and continuing with the results they
were presented.
10. Love
This is the toughest thing for a man to be able to accomplish.
There are so many facets and levels to love. But love is the
greatest emotion of all. It is the most powerful force.
God is love. Nothing is bigger than God. Man must be able to face the
fact that love and its powerful yet mysterious nature of attraction
can solve and resolve the toughest issues he could ever face.
