Living Tips

The truth is that as a people under the law of man we seek to define who we are when we are suppressed from doing so. I suggest that as we grow to become thought provoking humans we are to discover what life is really meant about and what we are supposed to do with it.

As a child I was going into art class and they would say draw this picture and do it this way. It was like they were trying to get me to be the way that they wanted me to be, but in all actuality I reformed and grew up to rebel against those I loved. Why? Because not everyone is meant to follow the fine threaded guidelines that other people set up to make a society that will flourish. No matter what children like I was are out there and I am suggesting that most children are the way that I was. I remember correctly.

When anything came along where it had to be done a curtain way my brain would be forced into submitting in order to achieve a passing score. It is not fair. I am not trying to be opinionated but when I am told that I can not be creative in the way that I want to be I causes me to lose some of who I am. "We are molded and re-molded by those who we come into contact with", was a famous quote I read somewhere sometime ago.

So are we molded into what they want us to be, or are we a free people one that expresses who we are. A people that is willing to give up everything we own to do what we want. In the Bible Jesus asked the people that he wanted to be his followers to drop everything that had and follow him. Now is this contradicting? I suggest that God lays before us the life of servitude for him, sacrificing what we do sometimes for his noble causes. Yes, but we must remember that the plan that God set up for us is to follow in his image, and because he made us in his image, and because is is the most creative being in existence we are a creative people. He calls us to take what he gave us along the lives we find ourselves in and use it for his glory.

Now I am not trying to dwell on the God factor to much but I realize he is perfect and so are his ways, it is impossible to ignore him. Ok, so life is sorted out by those who so this and do that. Well each thing was created to do because someone along the line wanted something to do and they made it. Shakespeare was an amazing poet and play writer, obviously known as the best to ever exist. Now if he would have grown up in this society where people are forced to submit into the way others think re best for them, I suggest he would
