"Blessed Criticism..."

I Welcome Criticism of a Constructive Nature,
It Inspires me to become Better,
Empowers me to See what I my Self am Unable, or Unwilling to See,
And Helps to Steer me through the most Treacherous of waters,

It Creates a Desire to become the Best that I can Possibly Be,
Helping me to not Remain too Comfortable, or Confined by Ego,
Giving me Strength to do More than simply "get by,"
And Bringing out the Most that I can Offer to myself, and Others,

But because I often times come to Believe my own Hype,
And the criticism has brought me Back to my Own Reality,

Most often Given by those who have an Agenda of some sort,
But even That Helps me to See, Think, and Feel Clearly,
And I am Able to See it for what it Is, and Nothing More,

Without the Critics- Without the Opinions and Views of Others,
I would be Alone in my World- Alone in my Thoughts and Words,
And I would be as Empty and Blank as a new sheet of paper,
Full of Potential; but as Meaningless as never Existing at All...
