Country music has always been a pillar of strength that unites this country. Whether it is to comfort to our fellow man, rally us together in spirit, to show our patriotic pride, or simply to voice real life issues of the current society, the voice of country music speaks volumes to us. In doing so, some of the most influential country music albums of all time are the following and why they deserve that status:
)"Some Gave All", by Billy Ray Cyrus was released at a time when this country was at its lowest and his music served to pull this nation together one chorus at a time. The album made us stop and think for just a moment about the sacrifices made each day by many and without a spokesman, they will never get the respect deserving of their effort. His album made this country reflect and realize what is truly important in life to each of us.
)"Ring of Fire", by Johnny Cash influenced the music industry by showing that all audiences can and do appreciate country music, whether confined or not. Johnny took his music to a higher level when he began his outreach to the convicted felon audience. He was country music's voice to all.
)"Always and Forever", by Randy Travis epitomizes the good-hearted country gentleman, son, brother, husband and dad rolled into one. He presented to us songs of love and devotion that we'd rarely heard in country music and it was a welcomed change. For once, country music was reviewed as a positive influence on the world, as he was singing about undying love and devotion to a wife, marriages that last until the end of time, an how fortunate and grateful he was for it all. Those songs presented country music's famous family values that we'd always stood for, but we were not hearing until his album was released. It changed the reputation of all country music.
)"Sentimentally Yours", by Patsy Cline changed country music forever when a female country artist made it to the top as a singer. Patsy Cline broke the stereotypical
