It was a cold December afternoon on a cool snowy afternoon, and Christmas day was approaching fast among other things. Dale was spending the weekend at his friend Mac's home and they had decided to go to the mall to window shop and look for presents. The two 7 year olds were excited that Christmas was just two days away.

At first, everything was fine, Dale and his friend got to the mall, Santa was there, Christmas music was playing and the mall wasn't too hot or crowded. All the latest gadgets and gift items were handsomely on display in the store showcases. The larger than life size candy canes were prominently adorned near Santa's makeshift mall abode and everyone seemed happy.

As Dale was grabbing his nose and cursing at Mac, Mac had quickly traversed to the nearest tree to expunge himself expediently, it was rather horrifying for both of them, but then just when they thought things couldn't get worse they did.

Dale and Mac regained their composition and agreed to put the event behind them as they continued to walk in amazement of the recent transpiring of events when not one but two of the shiny glittery bug creatures appeared from behind a tree. These ones were bigger and had larger wings that moved rapidly as their red eyes beamed toward the two friends. "Run" said Mac as they became afraid of the bug creatures. Dale and Mac headed off the trail without thinking as the bugs flew after them; when the two friends could no longer see the bugs they stopped running but had become
