The Difference
The word Christian means to be Christ like.
In my opinion there are very few things
That make me Christ like.
However, I did accept Jesus into my heart.
The blood that was shed and his sacrifice.
I made him the Lord over my life.
Though trouble and sorrow
May darken my way.
I take it to God.
I know how to pray.
I know he is there.
Ready and willing
To answer my prayers.
I live like everyone else.
In every single way.
Sickness and heartache.
Death and dismay.
All of these things.
May confront me each day.
I walk by faith and not by sight.
Believing God's word.
And trusting his love.
Through his precious grace
I'll make it alright.
For I have got hope.
I found it in him.
My path may be foggy.
All shrouded and dim.
When I accepted Jesus.
I found such a gem.
He leads me
And guides me.
He sets my soul free.
The father
The son
And the spirit make three.
