Sure, and while we're getting rid of religion, let's get rid of faith ,hope, love, peace, kindness, joy, and everything else in the world that is good. Isn't it bad enough that life is full of hate, drugs, gangs and street fights. The Countries can't even get along with one another.
We all face many challenges in life, but by faith, we never have to face them alone. A life with no hope or faith becomes a pit of depression and loneliness. It isn't easy to live in a world where there is more wrong than right. What would this world become if there was nothing but sin. Nothing would exist that was once good. You would never find peace in your heart. You would come into the world alone, and go out alone.
If our faith filled beliefs were banished, there would be no laws, spiritual, or man made. People would believe, and do whatever they wanted, and the world would go straight to hell. Is that what this world wants to become?
Do you have any clue about what you'll be facing in a world without hope, and faith. That's the only thing that Christians have to hold on to. I don't know about other religions, but I have to have something, or someone to believe in, and it's not of this world. I love waking up every morning knowing that by faith in a loving Father, There is nothing that He and I can't get through together.
A lot of people have stopped believing because they didn't get their prayers answered the way they wanted, but that's because God will only give you what is best for you. And how sincere were you when you prayed? Have you even accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior?
I don't like the word religion, it has more than one meaning, so I choose to use the word Christianity, meaning as Christ walked, Christianity will never be gone as long as God's people are willing to suffer the trials and tribulations of this evil world. Some would be willing to die for the cause of Christ. And because Jesus is alive, Christianity will prevail.
Jesus said in the 24th chapter of Matthew: verse: 35 "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass away." So Christianity will never die, as long as Jesus lives.
I know a lot of things have become more secular in the world of today, but God is still on the throne. Jesus was, and is, and will ever be the one and only Savior of a sinfilled world. He came as a gift grom God the Father, to live among men to show them what goodness and love was. He came from a Father of unconditional mercy and grace. He came, knowing that He
