Poetry: Unconscious

In your state of unconsciousness, as you lay and sleep.
The wishes of love and kindness run forever deep.

Though you are not at all aware, there's so many people
who are on their knees, saying a prayer.

With hopes that working together as a team, the messages
will build a bigger stream.

Washing into your hospital room, and ending this silence
and gloom.

Causing you to feel the love, and all the prayers sent up
above.

To help heal, and guide you until a conscious state, you can
return to.

And as the number of days add up, and still your eyes are
closed, the amount of well wishes has also rapidly rose.

Making it a sure bet that if just half of our prayers are met
you'll be improving everyday and seeing the faces of those who
helped along the way.
