Some seem to think unicorns are only white, and lovely!
What about the browns, and others,
Hiding in a covey?
Peeking out without a sound,
Quietly mocking us from a mound.
Hiding away for centuries, Caring for their little ones.
I'm sure I saw one the other day,
Playing in a field of hay!
And to his left I saw an elf,
On to the right was, I think: Snow White!
How sad that every day, can't be filled with room to play.
Could we be happy if we did?
Imagine if you can at all,
Unicorns frolicking in a hall.
Pet his mane, and he will stay
until he's called and runs away.
Unicorn? Oh, yes, there is,
and many of them hidden away;
listen, carefully; and look real close!
See, there one is: oh, maybe not.
Shadows, maybe, what do we know?
Maybe it's another Unicorn, white as snow!

UNICORN
U= Unity
The state of being one:oneness
single entity the state of being a cpmplete or
harmonious combination of elements
The last one of her kind,
She sits
By the whispering willows of the haunted woods
That keep taunting her, reminding her...
When did the search for unicorns end?
I don't recall giving up on them
The little girl I was
knew they existed
somewhere
