Profit goes to the abortion doctor plain and simple. The woman who has an abortion is left to deal with the psychological effects all on her own, not to mention the money she paid to eliminate a mistake of conceiving a child.
There is no accountability for either side except payment of the money paid by the woman. Sure, we know, sometimes the man pays for the abortion because he can't be bothered with a child out of wedlock. It might damage his Mr. Goodguy routine.
Not many people would be against an abortion where there are mitigating factors such as the health of the pregnant woman, but our of the millions of abortions performed less than 6 percent involves the health of the woman, and 1% rape or incest.
What is abortion then but human disposal methods? If life isn't sacred to you, it probably doesn't matter to you.
Where is the profit? The question might be phrased this way; did you ever see a poor or destitute abortion doctor? Did you ever see a poor or destitute pregnant woman with no means to pay for an abortion? Which of these two make a profit from their jobs?
Since 93% of abortions occur for social reasons, it seems clear that the abortion industry is into the job of disposing of an "inconvenience" and making a great profit in the practice.
In businesses, when inventory is disposed of, it's not called "planning." It's called writing off obsolete and slow-moving inventory. It would seem more honest if Planed Parenthood took the word, "planned" out of their name.
One pro choice woman argued that the earth is overpopulated. I take that to mean she feels women are doing the world a favor in aborting by controlling the population. There are roughly 46 million worldwide abortions per year, so she has a point -of sorts.
In the United States the population is shifting to the older generation and will continue to shift over the next twenty years as boomers retire. If abortions continue at a rate of 1.6 million per year in the United States, this continent will certainly have 32 million less young people to run and support the country.
Abortion profits will fall with the population. Sometimes a nation outsmarts itself.
