Buy an air purifier like the AirPod this neat device can clean 45 cubic feet of air a minute and runs on less then than 5 watts while other devices require 40 or more watts of power. If you can't afford a device like this you can also keep certain plants in your house that help clean and improve indoor air. These plants include English ivy, peace lily, and bamboo palm

Green Laundry

An Energy Star marked washer can save you over a hundred dollars on your utility bills. This is because they use mearly half the water of standard washers while still maintaining the same washing capacity. A cheaper way to go green while doing your laundry is to avoid using aerosol or squirt bottle type stain removers and stick to roll on instead since while spraying these products a good amount doesn't end up on the clothes it ends up in the air.
