Ron Paul - A viable candidate for American President in November 2008

The story of Ron Paul is one that has been duplicated over some of the recent Presidential Elections. Some of those that come to mind is Howard Dean, Ross Perot, and most notably Sam Brownback. All of these men spoke their mind, stood by their convictions and ran on a passion for doing what they believed to be right.

While Howard Dean seemed to have done himself in and Senator Brownback just couldn't get his campaign off the ground, one thing really separates them from Ron Paul. Ron has found an issue that resonates with some Republicans and other Independents in America. The idea of pulling troops out of Iraq, while a divisive issue has a captive audience.

The question of whether Ron Paul is a viable Presidential candidate is really one for the American voter to decide. What can be said is that he is a viable authority on those issues in which he has strong convictions for. Ron is able to effectively articulate those issues in an animated and convincing way. This is what makes him so popular among a large number of American voters. While I don't agree with all of Ron Paul's views, I do respect his passion and commitment to his beliefs.

With an open election such as the 2008 Presidential election, it does seem to be one up for grabs. We can't count anyone out and there is plenty of times to listen closely to everyone who wants to inhabit the big White House on Pennsylvania Avenue. Ron Paul, viable, who knows, but public opinion would say yes he is...in many ways.
