There are few people than can ever be considered as better than Michael Jordan. The fact that Lebron James is already being considered four years into his career is reason enough for me to explain to you why Lebron James will not only be better than Michaal Jordan, but maybe already is.

Lebron James is playing defense this year. Michael Jordan was a tremendous defensive basketball player, and in my opinion the only thing that Michael did that Lebron wasn't doing. Lebron is making his teammates better. One thing you always hear is how much better Michael made his teammates when they were on the floor with him. Lebron is playing with Drew Gooden and Eric Snow! The fact they made it to the Finals last year is a testament to how good Lebron made his teammates. Lebron is clutch. Michael was the most clutch player in the history of basketball. If you needed a big shot you knew he would make it. Lebron beat the Pistons last year by himself. He was as clutch in that series as anyone I have ever seen. How many huge shots did he knock down to keep the game alive when he scored those 29 out of 30 points! Lebron did something I never saw Michael do. Lebron put his entire team on his shoulders, and carried them into the NBA Finals. Lebron is bigger than Michael. He is faster than Michael. He is stronger than Michael, and now all of the sudden he can shoot the ball from all over the court! If Lebron had a Pippen with him, he would already have 2 championships. What did Michael do before Pippen got there? Nothing. Michael never led his team to the Finals without Pippen. He couldn't get past Detroit, which, coincidentally is another thing Lebron did better than Michael.

Lebron James will have the most impressive numbers of any player by the time he retires, but that isn't what will make him the greatest player of all time. When he is retired, whether he gets his wingman or not, you know that he will some how will his team to a championship, and when he has, that will be someone no one in the history of the NBA has ever done before. Win a championship by himself.
