I think that answering this question tells the reader far more about themselves than it does about abortion providers. Those that believe abortion providers are performing a service probably like to think of it as a relatively an ethical, altruistic act. Those that believe abortion providers are working for profit are more apt to think of the providers as being emotionless, and selfish.
There are some abortion providers that constantly abuse their sense of conscience, continuing to provide abortions because they have found a lucrative career. Hell, you can name someone in any field doing the same thing. But there are definitely those that provide abortions because they believe in the work.
I believe that there are more people out there working to provide a service than there are people providing abortions purely for profit. It is difficult for me to understand why anyone would stay in such a polarizing and dangerous (emotionally, professionally, and physically) profession, if they did not have a conviction.
I am not willing to say that every abortion provider works to provide a service to women. There are definitely sick people out there working for naught but profit, and continually silencing their own moral vision. But I guess I hope that most abortion providers are working to provide a service, and make some good money along the way. All I have in this context is my hope- my hope that most people are incapable of abusing their minds into silence, and living a life of true hell.
