This could be tricky but if you can afford it, then you should. It is going to be absolutely expensive but buying house or land in Los Angeles or even in Las Vegas, is one of the ultimate gifts one can still acquire regardless.

Ultimately enough, to buy a house or a land, you must secure your surrounding with fire and water resistant materials. For example, when buying a land, don't start any building work until you have walled your land with fire resistant materials. Then, generate a garden landscaping through the land.

Then, you can start building but with fire, water and earthquake materials that will ensure as close to safety as possible, that most of the homes can be secured in case of any emergency. This scheme is now getting very expensive but worth it because then you have to have built a separate garage for fire extinguishing vans, where allowed. They of course, have to be in tact round the clock.

It is no longer easy to have homes or ranches but if you put every effort into it, then, there is still hope.

Fires help us to see clearly, helps us to understand that we have things that are precious to us and securing them by copyrighting helps to reduce the pain and anguish that could have been caused by a devastation.

Fires just come suddenly so that preparation for any crisis can bring some relief. Large fires unfortunately do get out of control and having a small size fire extinguisher might not help but you can find comfort in the Insurance policy when you take one up.

Farming on a land also minimizes the destruction of homes that are surrounded with properly designed farm structure that prevent fires. Cow grazing is also an advantage because it enables the cows to have something to feed on, something that they need such as the grasses and where there is minimal wasteland, there is less likeliness of fires getting out of control.

Otherwise, just spend time surrounding your home with gardens with water pipes that wet the land all day and night. Or just build swimming pools all around with fire resistant materials, or get a fishing pond to draw a line between your home and the forests.

Just buying a home however, comes with lots of risks and therefore, you do have to protect your surroundings first. If you cannot secure your home, then, it might not be worth the risks.
