Was the US government involved in orchestrating 9/11 for ulterior motives?

My first question is what ulterior motives would the U.S.Government have to be any part of 9/11? Then I want to know how could our own citizens even think so poorly of our government. Also what would the U.S. Government have to gain from being a part of 9/11?

It amazes me that there are people living in the United States, or any other country for that matter that believes the U.S. government would or could have anything to do with 9/11. Why are people so cynical when it comes to our government, of course our government is not perfect, but it is far better than others around the world. I am appalled at some of the things people who are given such a high quality of life, human rights and freedoms can degrade the very country and government that fight to maintain the rights offered to its' citizens.

Personally, I do not consider myself a republican or a democrat, though I take my right to vote seriously and use it with pride. So many that live in the United States talk such hatred against the country that gives its' citizens more freedoms, more rights, more choices and more opportunities than most countries or any country in the world. So many of U.S. citizens do not even bother to use their right to vote, yet these are the people that complain most about our government, or policies, they choose not to vote to change how things are run, for me those who do not vote have no say in the state of this country.

When I hear the conspiracy theories of how the United States government flew planes into buildings to kill over 3,000 of its' own citizens I get angry. I say if you really feel our country is so corrupt, and they feel there are so many terrible things wrong with this country I love to call my home, you are welcome and you should find a place in the world that is more suited to your beliefs. We have immigrants coming to this country everyday looking for a better way of life. They come from all over the world, and seem to understand how lucky we who were born here really are, and wish to be a part our country, unlike so many who are born here with all of the rights the U.S. blankets its' citizens.

Yes, I love the fact we have freedom of speech, though I do not feel that gives the ill informed or ignorant people the right to spew hatred and lies. I am an open-minded person; if there were the smallest fact our government did or could have done anything to cause
