Let's say you got a few gifts from co-workers and family members. Though you appreciated the thought behind the gifts, they were just not what you yourself can use alone.

A gift set of the Hickory Farms Food baskets. You can only eat so much of the summer sausage, ham and beef sticks, and the cheese that comes with it, share the joy of all the cheese and crackers. There is usually enough to go around in a small office. Just bring other crackers or a few of the cheese balls you have left over and never used from your party at home.

Petit fours, these are wonderfully swiss creme dipped bites of cake. Eating a few of these are rich, so you may want to break open the coffee you got as well to share to help with the richness of the petit fours. Even gifts of tea if you are a tea enthusiast you can share with the office, and not only enjoy your favorite tea at home, but work as well.

Any can you received as a gift with nuts, place them out in a serving tray and watch people come around your desks like a herd of squirrels wanting to pack up for winter! From the cashews, to macadamia nuts to pistachios and honey roasted peanuts, rainbow mixed, pecans and almonds, plain and chocolate covered, and mixed nuts are a hit around the office. make sure you have a little nut mix with the raisins, Pepita's, sunflower seeds and walnuts for the health conscious crowd that may gather.

Some times it is nice to share the hand lotion. Lord knows your hands can get dry inside an office with the air and heating system the way it is set up, shuffling papers around, handling file folders, so keep a handy container of your favorite lotion you were given so every one can relieve dry hands.

I used to bring in my favorite potpourri air freshener for the bathroom. Just a quick spray or two in the bathroom can linger for some time and its not too overbearing like some perfumes can be around the office.
