i have the choice
to speak
or be spoken to
i have a voice
that is ignored
and often blue
i see the world
through eyes
not unlike you
i am a person
like you
worth listening to
i feel my mind
seems very
strange to you
i was a child
and experienced
the birthing too
i will pass on
and experience
that change too
i mean so much
to oh so
very few
i think too much
about what
i need do
i bury feelings
as people
should never ever do
i can't contain
what it is
i feel about you
i must go on
in a world
that's changing too
