The living room, the bedroom and the rest of the house was silent. I called out to my dog of one year "pepper?, pepper?" I went out back to check if she was there but there was no sign of her. I began calling her name again only louder this time but there was still no response. Now by this time I was starting to get worried so I searched the house again but still she was nowhere in sight reluctantly I went into the kitchen and took out some carrots for my two rabbits (Oreo and sparky) because I knew that they were also hungry and needed my attention. I walked out to the yard and when I got close enough I busted out laughing in my medium sized rabbits cage was pepper crammed inside with the two rabbits on top of her, sleeping! How she got in there still remains a mystery to me. After a few minutes of laughing by myself I pulled her out and as soon as she was completely out she ran inside the house. I fed my rabbits and turned around to walk back inside when all of a sudden there stood pepper with one of my thongs dangling from her mouth. I began to run after her screaming "Pepper come here!" but the more I ran towards her the more she thought it was a game, so I pretended to ignore her so that she could think "game over" and it worked she stopped running and slowly laid the thong on the floor. I stood there waiting to make my move and I began tiptoeing towards her the thong was in plain sight right in arms length when all of a sudden my brother called out "is anyone home?" and immediately pepper grabbed the thong and dashed towards the door and of course with me on her heels she ran faster and out the front door. Now keep in mind my dog is loose and now is three blocks down the street and is carrying my thong in her mouth how more humiliating can that be? Well not as humiliating as tripping on a branch and falling in a puddle of mud which was exactly what happened to me oh but that's not all! Pepper finally stopped running and sat down humorously watching her owner's display and set my thong down right in front of a few guys who helped me get up and handed me my gooey thong. Now when I come home and can't find pepper anywhere I first make sure that all my dressers are closed.
