Often times when trends come back it can be an awful mistake or an amazing discovery. "The Bob", recently made famous again by former Spice Girl, Victoria Beckham, has made us wonder why it ever went away in the first place. Popping up in the 20's, women everywhere fell in love with The Bob. It was the first time women did anything rebellious with their hair. It was very associated with "the flapper" style, and apparently many men would even go as far as divorcing their wives during that time. After awhile it turned into a very vogue hair style but there was still much controversy over it. Regardless of all the rage, because of this style, bobbie pins were made!

This hair style is very functional and works well on many different face shapes. Typically, it is longer in the front than in the back, which is very appealing on someone with a round face shape. The style has changed moderately over the years as it has been tweaked by many different stylists making their own version. Most time, bobs will be accompanied with bangs cut straight across, or more recently, a side-swept bang. Normally, a bob will be one-length, without any layering, but sometimes it is graduated in the back giving it volume throughout the crown area. Ladies everywhere, of all ages are getting into this hair cut and loving it. It can be transformed from funky, back to professional. Because of how fun, functional, and easy this style is, no wonder I jumped on 'The Bob bandwagon' myself.
