First dates are nerve wrecking, your trying to fix your hair and make sure your breath is ok and the most important thing is to pick an outfit that sends one statement:this is me. The same rules apply to where you take your significant other out on your first date, it should be you, not some hopelessly expensive french restaurant where they serve appetizers like oyster wrapped in char grilled sea weed. So take her out somewhere special thats not exactly the hot spot in town, but a place shell surely never forget because of your uniqueness.
.Museums, sure not every girl or guy is a history buff but you'll both have talking about art or laughing at how funny a certain sculpture looks. Its the perfect way to take the pressure off and just learn to relax in a beautiful setting filled with love stories of their own.
.Parks or famous gardens, usually these places are free to get into and extremely beautiful at night, especially with lights to guide the way, its a private way to shut out the world and focus on you and your date instead of the usually forty-five minute wait for a table.
.Free concerts in or around your city(probably best if you live in a more industrialized city instead of suburbanized) most cities have local free concerts and although you may not be to into that type of music tell her your always willing to try something new. This shows your not afraid of the understood and unknown in and situation, and your willingness to open up to new ideas.
.Lakes or rivers, who says packing up a little old fashioned picnic isnt romantic? you've got the water in the background and the food in your basket, simple setting for striking conversation.
.Art showings, almost the same as a museum but a much bigger hype, people loved art and the fact that your willing to take her somewhere this exciting is definatly a way to score points.
.Your favorite bakery, at a local bakery they usually tell pastries pretty cheap and tell her that dessert is something you should never take lightly. usually pastries are really cheap so buy a couple and sit down and let the conversation begin.
.Coffee and or book stores, what girl doesn't love something iced with whipped cream on it? flip through magazines or books and let yourself open up to a world of knowledge about her.
.(seasonal) if its Christmas time why not pack some hot turkey sandwiches and some hot chocolate and go look at some Christmas lights? or go see the big Christmas tree displayed in your cities town square or local shopping center?
There are many ways to take a girl on a date on a light budget, just be thoughtful and remember that girls love being treated different and special, we like to tell the story of the date we went on to an exciting place rather than the regular Friday night chili's your friends and there dates were all hitting.
