Corporatism and trans-national corporate control of the broadcast media largely coordinate U.S. Presidential politics right through the primaries and to the general election. It seems more scripted because it is. I would have liked Meryl Streep to play Mrs. President personally as she is a much better and likable actress than is Hillary Clinton. Hillary Swank played a fine boxer of course, and Hillary Clinton has given Mr. Chicago via Honolulu via Indonesia with a Muslim father and son living outside the U.S.A. permanently a black eye in the primary campaign season so far of course, yet the challenger O'Bomba seems to be gaining on points on the media referee's cards at least with the Democratic-Republican feminine 'top dog' or big gun Ophrah Winfree giving O'Bomba a boost up this week. It will help.
Trans-national corporations that started in the U.S.A. decades ago with oil and other extraction industries seek to prop up the snow-bridge U.S. economy with heavy foreign investment while downgrading the U.S.A.'s personal income for every except the top 5% of net wealth people that are the trans-nationalist largely. The United States is a convenient base for supporting transnational corporations for the very rich and they want a democratic face on the change of policy to enrich themselves and increase production in the world as well as markets while investing as little as possible in America. Sure Microsoft is building a new factory in my hometown Quincy Washington but it is also planning to build one in Irkutsk Siberia. Most relocating or expanding U.S. businesses concerned with oil just move offshore to Dubai or Mecca and leave just pollution and poison in the U.S.A. if not tragic oil spills such as the horrendous, catastrophic Exxon-Valdez.
Scripted presidencies seem to have begun with Ronald Reagan but the groundwork for complete trans-national control did not exist then and so Mr. Reagan was innocent of the charge of willful stupidity and cooperation with corporatists seeking the destruction of American independence. Democrats cannot just be mindless pursuers of social statistic equality in the U.S.A for there is more to the state of the nation than that. Global economic and political facts are dynamic variables and constants that are not on a single paradigm such as a federal affirmative action program could model and neither is the world environment. Corporatism as a political philosophy naturally leads to authoritarianism in reflection of the politics
