A house can become a home no matter where you go, it just takes time for all great things. In our lives we sometimes go from one house to the next, but what we always realize is that each house, does not always feel like a home. A house is not always a home in my opinion. It takes a lot more than a roof being over your head for it to be considered a home. In my beliefs, a home is a place where your heart hangs. It is also a place that you can hang your hat each and everyday. It's even more than just hanging your hat. A home is a place that you can feel comfortable and be your self. A home has your favorite place to sit, read a book, watch a movie with your loved ones, it has fond memories every where you look and it holds dear to your heart. A house is a special place that you can call home, because it is apart of you and in some ways, it shows who you are and what kind of person you are. It allows you to grow and be happy for the years that come and go.
My house is filled with many memories, fun times, laughter and sentimental value. My home is priceless to me because it is apart of me, my life and my family. It holds not only laughter, but sometimes tears. Many things have come and went in my life and all things great and small have been shared here in my home. My heart has become apart of this home and it has shared much with me. This house is my home because of so many memories here. A home is indeed where your heart hangs.
