TV show reviews: Supernatural

time to lose interest. Seasons one and two were just a warm up act for the main event. And if you haven't seen an episode, let me tell you, that's saying something.

Last, but certainly not least, no review of this show would be complete without mentioning the acting.

As Sam and Dean, Jared Padalecki (Sam) and Jensen Ackles (Dean) have created two ghost-busting characters to drool over. And for more than their good looks. As the only two constant characters, these two actors film nearly every day of the ten day filming cycle, with hours ranging from late at night to early in the morning, to mid afternoon. They are in nearly every scene, with each other, or with guest stars, and still manage to bring the show to life. Their acting has been incredibly good, and with one episode being comedic, and the next intensely dramatic, it cannot be easy. Yet a single glance from one says a thousand words, and one twitch of the face can make us flinch. How someone can get one tear, just one, single tear, to fall is beyond me, yet Jensen Ackles has done it on several occasions.

And, as the icing on the cake, the bond between the two actors shines through each moment they are acting together, and does wonders for the show. It is typical of the bond between the two brothers, and makes Supernatural all the better for it.

Whether it be horror, excitement, angst, drama, comedy or just a chance to watch two hot guys for an hour, Supernatural gives it all. An intriguing plot, with plenty of smaller story lines and a weekly beast of the week as side dishes. Great acting, a tight bond and never a boring episode what more could you ask for?

No seriously, because I bet Supernatural offers that too.
