Best essential oils for your face

In order to tell about the essential oils used for the face it is necessary to understand a little about the face and how essential oils work with the skin as apposed to chemical treatments. The human face is like a book. It tells a story. Each wrinkle represents a chapter in our life and each blemish tells a story of misuse. Laugh lines tell everyone that our lives contain humor, while a drooping mouth says there is sadness or anger in our lives. No face is a mask and if we cover it in makeup, that too, says we have something to hide. Once upon a time it was thought that skin was a waterproof coating in which nothing could be absorbed into the layers below. Now, we have all kinds of medications that are applied directly onto the skin for absorption. Essential oils are absorbed into the body, not only because their therapeutic values can be seen to be working but because oils applied directly onto the skin are excreted through urine, feces, perspiration and breath. The natural and extremely small molecules of essential oils penetrate the dermis and get to work with their purity maintained.

Essential oils work cosmetically and as anti-aging agents in several ways. The stimulate skin cells into reproducing at a quicker rate, thus reducing the time lag between new skin growth and the elimination of old cells. Skin that has been treated with essential oils thus becomes more dynamic and stronger.
Before listing the essential oils, I think it is important to stress the fact that while treating yourself with these oils, it will obviously speed things along if you don't overload the system with more toxins that the skin has to work harder to eliminate. Cut out alcohol, coffee, tea, sweets (this will be the toughest one for women), red meats or at least cut back on them and all the things that you know will clog up your skin cells as well as your digestive system. If you can cut years from your appearance and how your body feels, wouldn't it be a worthwhile sacrifice?

Anti-aging essential oils to combat wrinkles
Violet leaf Frankincense
Clary-sage Myrrh
Fennel Lemon
Neroli Hyssop
Rose Carrot
Galbanum Oregano
Lavender Orange
Thyme Vervaine
Patchouli Rosemary
Yarrow Palma rosa
Chamomile(German) Lime

You can use any of these oils on their own or make combinations of two or more to suit your needs. Use the oils in a bath, as a face oil, or body rub. Because everyone's skin doesn't regenerate at the same rate, allow at least thirty days before expecting to see outward signs of improvement.
