Natural ways to get rid of blemishes

It is amazing how some people have flawless skin their entire lives and others fight everyday to keep from looking like we have measles. We are always looking for that next golden lining that promises all of our problems are over if we buy their product. We have cabinets full of these so call miracle workers for all of our skin problems, but the only problem we now have is an empty bank account to go along with all of the skin problems. Well, I want to tell you about something that has helped me that is all natural, cost is minimal and results are amazing. I will be giving you several recipes here depending on your level of acne or facial blemishes. You will need to make these products yourselves to ensure that you get the freshest ingredients available and that you will be able to make it and have it at your disposal whenever you need it. Just remember, some of the treatments here are classified as exfoliants and if your face is already broke out, you will want to use one of the other recipes before going to the exfoliant. The exfoliant can aggravate the condition. Wait to use this until after their are no more eruptions on your skin.

Lavender and Rosemary Soap
Lavender and Rosemary have a mild yet stimulating effect on skin. Both are antiseptic, anti, and beneficial for treating wounds, blemishes, boils, dermatitis, herpes, fever blisters, and more. Begin the soap with an infusion of fresh lavender and rosemary, picked midmorning for highest oil content or you can order amazing quality fresh herbs over the internet. Steep the herbs together for a fresh infusion, proportioned as you like; dried herbs are effective, too.
Ingredients:
3 Cups glycerin soap base
1/4 cup infusion of lavender flowers and rosemary leaves
1 1/2 teaspoons lavender oil
1/2 teaspoon rosemary oil
1 teaspoon pulverized dried rosemary(optional)
Combine melted Base and herbal materials. Stir until blended, then pour into molds and cool. This soap is so pleasing-try not to give it all away. Store some in a linen closet for yourself and your family.

Self-Heal Soap
Self-Heal, also known as heal-all, is a common wild plant. With the help of your local herbalist or a good herb identification book, chances are you'll find this beautiful little plant right in your backyard. Self-heal is astringent and slows bleeding. It is especially helpful for wounds and skin eruptions. Collection the entire plant in early to midsummer, after its purple flowers have appeared. Select twelve plants, and at midmorning snip
