The existence of a supernatural governing force who meddles in our lives and sends his children to hell to be burnt for eternity (but he still loves them) is laughable at best. It is totally irrational to think that god made an infinitely large universe all for us so that we could occupy a tiny speck of it. That he sent his son down to die for sins is absolutely nonsensical for a powerful god to do.
I don't believe in a controlling, petty-minded god. I may however see the logic behind a god that is matter that perpetuates "itself" through this universe and is manifest in every atom of our universe. A universe so mumbled and helter-skelter surely cannot come from a magic wielding sentinel that is perfect'; a more logical case would be that this world formed and may have been to the surprise of god. We cannot know the mind of god, even attempting such a feat puts us further from the truth than when we started. We can know ourselves and find out about our world the best we can.
We are curious animals by nature so why should we tie our hands with the bounds of superstition and faith. If god is so powerful he doesn't want our praise; if he is so perfect then he gave us brains so that we may think and explore this world. Logically belief in, and belief in no god are unassailable tasks for us. We can explore these four dimensions but no further. We can do what we are capable of but no more.
I don't believe anything about god or the question of his existence. It may exist, it may not. Rather than postulating about this I'd rather spend my time in philosophies of great minds, reading heroic tales and enjoying every drop of life I've been granted.
