And now, the rest of the story. Reports flourished for about a two week period on every news outlet of the "Artic Polar Bears doom" just over the horizon. If you watched the report you had an added bonus of a polar bear and her cub floating perilously on a chunk of ice and were given the impression the ice was melting and her and her cub were left to die in the middle of the ocean. This of course was followed by an influx of upset, panicking citizens to the Fish and Wildlife offices in the U.S. totaling 600,000 in the first week.

I am not about to start telling the world we do not have a problem concerning global warming. As most of us know who study the "entire" problem, first and foremost is NOT global warming, it is pollution altogether. Of course we have a problem, and of course we contributed to the fate of species on our planet. However, it is no coincidence this story came out just before Al Gore went on a crusade to sell his book, followed by his convenient lie of a movie and then found himself caressing the Noble prize. For six months as I watched this story finally lose traction and the video go from tearful to repulsive, I realized, once again, we were suckered. It is sad, and harmful to our cause and the cause of the Polar bear that people are so willing to believe a lie. So be it! For those of you who prefer to be enlightened with facts for the water cooler, here, as I said is the rest of the story.

Have you ever noticed, these emotional stories generally ALL come from a single study. And the "story" told never tells the "whole" study? Sorry folks, but this should cause you to flip the dial. First let me point out something about the video of the bear and her cub. This is a VERY common way for Polar bears to travel for as long as man has witnessed them. Worse yet, despite one of the scientist in this very study telling the media this fact, the media decided it was not worthy to include. It was better to stir people's emotions on a lie. If the story had started with the video and you were told this is how bears travel all the time, your emotions would not have been primed for the partial truth and Al Gore's lies.

So what else was left out of the truth? Lets just examine some comments, then look at some facts. First, why was there not "other" findings, stories and research to go along with this study that lasted only six months of one year? Again, because there are "dozens" of other scientific studies and missions that completely refute this finding.
